About the Author
DEBRA KNAPKE is a horticulture instructor at Columbus State Community College, where she teaches courses in landscape principles, herbaceous plants and specialty gardens. She also has a garden design consulting business known as ìThe Garden Sageî. Debra is a popular speaker at gardening events in Ohio. She is the author of four Lone Pine gardening books including "Annuals for Ohio", "Perennials for Ohio" and "Gardening Month by Month in Ohio."
ALISON BECK is a professional garden writer who has been gardening since she was a child. Author of two dozen books on gardening, her writing showcases her talent for practical advice and her passion for gardening. Alison has a diploma in Horticulture as well as a degree in Creative Writing.
