About the Author
Virginia Patterson is a fine arts-trained painter. For more than ten years, she has been commissioned to paint everything from traditional canvases to decorative indoor and outdoor murals to unusual objects such as mailboxes, flower boxes, glass pieces, and more. Ms. Patterson regularly restores furniture for interior designers, including staining and upholstery, and has also designed and painted furniture pieces in her original designs. Additionally, Virginia is an accomplished quilter whose work has been exhibited in galleries and art shows across the United States.

Francine Hornberger edits interior design and crafts books. She's written for craft product manufacturers and craft book publishers, including the Offray Ribbon Company and McCall's Creates.
