Valerie Hector is not only a brand name for high-quality beaded jewelry, she is thought to have invented the fine craft category of beadwork jeweler. Since 1992 she has consistently juried into the top crafts shows in the United States, including the prestigious Smithsonian Craft Show in Washington, DC. She lives in Evanston, Illinois.
