Editorial Reviews
From the Publisher
The first glimpse of refracted yellow-green color in a barber bottle years ago inspired author Jay Glickman to learn all he could about this magic glass. The kaleidoscope of myths surrounding this elusive glass was almost as vast as its radiant tints; however, Glickman brought to light facts and fictions with the release of Yellow-Green Vaseline! A Guide to the Magic Glass in 1991. Now available from Antique Publications, the newly revised and updated Yellow-Green Vaseline! continues to enlighten and educate, and is still the only book of its kind to deal with this interesting topic. Complete with 1998 price guide. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

About the Author
Jay L. Glickman began collecting glass in 1938 at the age of seven, first enamored with the reflection of a Vaseline bottle while sitting in a barbers chair. A collector of Vaseline glass for more than 50 years, Jay has spent many hours researching the history and physical-chemical characteristics of this intriguing ware. He holds several patens on tools for repairing glass, and formerly worked with glass as an optical lab technician.

Terry Fedosky developed an interest in glassware in the early Seventies while conducting home parties for Wheatonware. She had collected a few pieces in a yellow-green color, but didnt hear the term Vaseline glass until stumbling upon a bowl at a yard sale in 1991. Immediately hooked, she embarked on a search for this mysterious glass. Among the small band of people fast becoming experts on the topic, she submitted current information and prices for the revised, updated edition of Yellow-Green Vaseline! --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
