About the Author
Joan Palicia is a registered nurse and a resident of northern New Jersey. Her sleds have been on display at the Boston Museum of Science, Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, and at the 1989 Toy Fair New York City as part of Flexible Flyers Centennial Anniversary.
