About the Author
J.P. Antonelli (1914-1996), a native of Philadelphia, was a teacher, writer, breeder, and Maltese dog lover. This tribute collection, which includes over twenty-five years of work with the Maltese, is intended as a memorial to Aenchen, a fellow Maltese lover and his wife of thirty-five years.
Educated at Columbia University, Antonelli was a secondary-level art teacher in New Jersey and was an active member of the American Maltese Association and parent/teacher organizations. His interests included sports; dance; stamp collecting; and, of course, anything which had to do with the Maltese, including breeding, showing, and writing for breed publications.
At the request of the author, all profits from this book will go to the Dog Museum in St. Louis, Missouri.
