About the Author
Daniel Schmidt has been hunting white-tailed deer for nearly 20 years, and is Deer & Deer Hunting magazine's editor in chief. Daniel has edited seven editions of Deer Hunters? Almanac, a necessary book for professional wildlife managers and serious deer hunters. His writing and photography have also appeared in numerous popular outdoor publications, including Whitetail Business, Outdoor Journal, and Bass Pro Shop's Outdoor World. Daniel and his wife currently reside in Iola, Wisconsin.
