Editorial Reviews
Book Description
I Want to be The Reindeer! , is the second book in the CHARLIE SERIES. Like the first book, The Almost Christmas Pony, it is BASED ON A TRUE STORY. CHARLIE is a pony who really wants to be The Reindeer pulling Santa in his cart when the 4-H members go Christmas Caroling on horseback. Charlie feels he needs to prove his worth and value to the family that adopted him. Of course, his nemesis Paleface is on the scene along with the other 4-H ponies and horses who also are trying out for the part. Find out if Charlie gets to be The Reindeer. This book is fully illustrated in beautiful color. This book appeals to all animal lovers, and ALL AGES. It has been well received by teachers and read-a-loud volunteers. Children ages 6 through 11 years especially like it, but younger children (as young as 3) like having it read to them.
