Michelle Conroy has worked as a bookseller, book editor and journalist. She spent eleven years based in London, working in book publishing as an editor and writer, and on magazines. She has edited and contributed to many books on history, art history, architecture, interior design and travel, and is the author of a number of books. Her most recent book editing and writing work has focused on natural history. Needless to say she is also a cat lover! She currently lives and works in Dunedin, New Zealand.
