In my house, cat-care books seem almost as plentiful as cat hair. As a book reviewer who lives with four cats, I see a lot of each. One of the best feline health and behavior books I've come across in a long time is the ASPCA Complete Guide to Cats. Drawing upon his professional expertise as director of the Cornell Feline Health Center, James R. Richards offers readers a thorough, well-written look at all things feline. Emphasizing health, behavior and inclusion into the right home, the author guides cat owners through the selection and lifelong care of a cat.
