Midwest Book Review
Recipes from the National Wild Game Cooking Competition may not appeal to everyone: access to game meats are a requirement for successfully using this book. The rise of game availability in stores and via mail order makes this more viable for ordinary consumers, however, and the easy recipes, such as Braised Leg of Black Bear with Huckleberry and Caramelized Honey Sauce, are real winners.
